Another awesomeness of this awesome manga. This very parts do actually move me, mind is precise. Seeing how's the emotionality of us human being explained scientifically is a pure mind-blower. 

There's also another similar theory mentioned in this manga series(but I don't exactly remember/found which chapter it was, maybe same chapter only different translation)

Carbon-base life like humans are short-lived,weak creature. That's why we evolve complex emotional responses. People can die easily, fear developed to help us avoid danger. Because we die, love developed to help us perpetuate our species. 

Silicon-base life like Azazel(resilient metallic life form in the manga) live for ten of thousands of years. They don't die easily, so there're no need for them to have such emotions. But that's what made them been alone.

Yet that's what attract these two together. Each one is attracted to what they lack from the other. Humans seeks Azazel's longevity, whilst Azazel drawn to human's heart.  

Well, this what can I summarized about the theory.I know some people will look down on this, saying this is just another silly story drawn on papers....but hey, gotta appreciate something that make our brain cells works dude.


For me, it's remind me that God make this world as His creation, for us human to think, & to take lesson from it.
